Bangladesh is a new born independent state. She is now under
a grip of acute economic crisis. The prices of essential commodities are
increasing by leaps and bounds. The middle class people, low income group, the labor
class people and the people of daily necessaries such as rice, clothe, fuel,
soap etc. have risen in abnormal way. The prices of these things have gone
beyond the purchasing capacity of the middle class people and toiling millions
of our country.
The prices of rice, milk, baby food, old, and sugar, salt
and construction materials have gone so high that the people of the low income
cannot buy them regularly. The prices of other commodities have gone up in the
similar way. It makes the cost of living of the people too high to imagine.
