Kazi nazrul Islam

Kazi nazrul Islam is the great poet of our country. He is known as the rebel poet. like him most.
Kazi nazrul islam was born in 1899 at charulia, a village in the district of Burdwan. On 11th jaistha in 1306. The name of his father was fakir ahmed and that of his mother was Zaheda Khatun.
Nazrul lost his father in his early life. At the age of 10 he got himself admitted into a local primary school. From his very boyhood he was fond of song. He joined a singing party named `Leto`. There he earned much reputation. Once he left home and went to Asanosl. In asansol he took a job In a bread shop. There he met with a police officer. The police officer took him to be admitted into a high school. But it also did no suit him.
When the First World War broke out Kazi Nazrul Islam joined the army as a Habider on the side of the
allies. In the military camp he continued to compose poems. When the war came to an end he came back to his native land and was inspired for freedom of the land.
He started write against the British rule and for the down-trodden people. Even he was sent to jail for writing against British.
Kazi Nazrul Islam wrote many poems, songs, Islamic songs, stories, novels etc. he helped the Muslims to awake from sleep.
The last part of this great poet’s life was painful. He suffered from serious disease and died in 29 august 1976. He was buried by the Dhaka university central mosque. His death was a great loss to the country.
We all are grateful to this poet. His contribution to country is incomparable. Kazi Nazrul islam was one of the man who wrote against the British the strongly. He always tried leading his struggle against the exploitation. So I like him most.
It may be said that the contribution of our national poet is quite incomparable. He is our hero. We should always show him due respect.
