DISCIPLINE


The word `discipline` comes from a Latin word disciplus. Disciplus means disciple. A disciples obeys the orders of his preceptor without any question. Discipline is a moral quality.
Discipline is the first law of the nature. Universe itself rests on discipline. In short, the entire nature stands on and behaves in orderliness and discipline.
At home we are to observe discipline. We cannot rear up good children. If there is no discipline. So discipline should be enforced on children at home.

For running educational institutions, observance of discipline is essential. Here the students are give training and education so that they can become full-fledged and responsible citizens.
In the military service it is first essential. Everyone in the defense service from the solders to the general has to lead a strictly discipline life.
Games are played under certain set of rules. If a player breaks the rules, he becomes disqualified for the game. One of the main objectives of game is to teach discipline to the players.
In civil affairs as well, the value of discipline is equally important. No organization or institutions can work smoothly without discipline among its workers.
Discipline leads to harmony or order whereas discipline leads to confusion or disorder. Discipline is the key note of the worldly order.
Discipline brings peace and prosperity to a man. Discipline draws the sharp line of distinction between men and beast.
