One’s daily life Is more less a matter of routine. Changes
occur when there is a holiday, a festival or an accident. Beyond these, one day
is like another. Perhaps it is good that it is not otherwise, for routine gives
our life discipline and saves our time. However at different hours of the day
one has to do different things within the routine.
However everyone has a daily routine of work. I am a
student. So I have also a routine. I do my daily works according to this
routine.
To me morning hours are the most important. It has been said
that morning shows the day and that well begun is half done. I believed in the truth
of both. I begin my day quit early. Getting up at about 5-30 I go out for a
walk. On return I wash myself properly and have a bath. Then I get my books and
papers ready and also read and write. Mother calls us for breakfast about 7-30
for 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. I study, then I get ready for madrasah.
I remain at madrasah 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. I always sit in
the 2nd bench and listen to what my teachers say. I never make a
noise during the lesson time. We get rest at 2p.m. I take Tiffin in the leisure
period. Then I say my zohar prayer in the mosque. When the madrasah breaks up
at 4.30 p.m. I return home straight.
The afternoon houses are the most joyous. I eat the food my
mother keeps ready for me and then run to join my friends in the playground
near our house. I return home at about 6.30 p.m.
I study at night both before and after dinner. I go to bed
at 10 p.m.
Adjustments have to be made with change of the seasons. But
the pattern remains the same. I enjoy my daily life and is happy about its
routine.
