OUR MADRASAH

The name of our madrasah is Durbati Ali madrasah. It is in the kaligonj of Gazipur district.

The sight of the Madrasah is very excellent. The climate of the Madrasah is good. There are many reserved tanks and tube-wells here. They supply us pure drinking water.

The madrasah building is very beautiful. If faces the south. There is a big field, a big pond in front of the madrasah building.

Our madrasah has two main buildings.  One building is `L` and another is `I’ shaped. There are 50 rooms in our Madrasah. Every room is in size of 30x25 ft. it has long balcony among the room. Our library has 7000 books.

There are 1200 students in our Madrasah. Each class has two sections. There are thirty teachers in our Madrasah.

The sports teacher organizes various games and sports like football, cricket, badminton, chess, etc. besides every year the Annual sports day is observed in our Madrasah.

Often there are arrangements for literary competition. Dramatic performers are also organized in our Madrasah on suitable occasions.

Every year about 300 students sit the Dakhil examination. Some students get scholarship in our Madrasah on suitable occasion.

Our Madrasah sits at 10 am and breaks up at 4.30 pm. We get half an hour’s recess at 1 pm. Then we take light food as Tiffin and pray.

The name and fame of our Madrasah spread here and there. The Madrasah is very dear to us.
