INTERNET

Internet is a new device for speedy transmission of nation, news, feeling etc. in the process of computer network. Internet is now regarded as a milestone in the modern world of computers. Internet is practically a network of all networks.
Computers are there all over the world. Different organizations use the computer within their own jurisdiction by applying the networking process.  In this way, networking processes are going on throughout the whole world.
Internet as a medium of worldwide communication is no personal affair. It is through the surveys the news are communicated. A user may connect his telephone adjusted with a computer to the local server, which again transmits his news to another server in another part of the world. Thus the link is formed.
Under the modern system of telephone call, a man in our land requires to spend taka one hundred for each minutes communion. But if the same call could be transmitted through internet it will cost, say, more than taka two ro three. Thus local customers can use this system profitably.
There are two processes; on line and off line internet. The former process is the process of connecting a computerized telephone line with a service provider of an internet.  With the help of this process, a user can connect his line with the provider any time he likes.
The second process known as off line internet or E-mail is now much in vogue in our country. The users of his process send all information direct to the nearest server provider. It may safely be asserted that E-mail is cheapest means of sending and receiving news.
Internet opened a new dimension in our communication system. Out T&T Board has already introduced VSAT in our country.
The use of internet in our country still remains costly. It is hoped that our Government will take all possible measures to make us beneficiary of this wonderful system in a short period.
